At Gun Parts Kit, we strive to provide high-quality military surplus and firearm components to collectors and builders. Because of the unique nature of de-milled parts kits and surplus items, please review our policy regarding returns and refunds carefully.
1. Return Period
We offer a 15-day inspection period from the date of delivery. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you must contact our customer service team within this 15-day window to initiate a return.
2. Condition of Returns
To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be in the exact condition in which they were received.
- The kit must be complete. If any pins, springs, or small components have been lost after opening, the return will be denied.
- Modifications: We cannot accept returns on any parts kit that has been modified, sanded, ground, welded, or where assembly has been attempted.
3. Surplus Grading Disclaimer
Most items sold by Gun Parts Kit are Military Surplus.
- Descriptions such as “NRA Good” or “Excellent” are industry standards for surplus condition.
- Minor surface wear, scratches, or cosmoline (storage grease) are expected and are not considered “defects.”
- Refunds based on “condition” are subject to our inspection and may be subject to a restocking fee.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned:
- Individual small replacement parts (pins, springs, screws).
- Any kit where the barrel has been pressed or the receiver has been modified/welded.
5. Restocking Fees
- Standard Returns: All returns for “change of mind” or buyer’s remorse are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
- Canceled Orders: Orders canceled before shipping but after payment processing may be subject to a 5% administrative fee.
6. Shipping Costs
- Customer Responsibility: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a documented shipping error on our part (e.g., we sent the wrong kit).
- Original Shipping: shipping fees is included in every of our product listed
7. Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected:
- We will send you an email notifying you that we have received your returned item.
- We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 1–2 business days.
How to Initiate a Return:
Please contact us via email info@gunpartskit.com with your Order Number and the item you wish to return. Do not ship items back to us without a confirmed Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
